Four Generations of Service to Families & Businesses

The Rollins Agency has been owned and operated by the Rollins family since its founding in 1910 by Marland W. Rollins.

From 1966 until 1998 Markham F. Rollins Jr. presided over the company. His two sons, Markham F. Rollins III and Charles J. Rollins assumed management of the company in January 1998. Markham and Charles are the fourth generation of the Rollins family and remain at the helm today.

In 1993 Rollins moved to its current headquarters in Tuckahoe, New York. That same year, John P. Moccia joined the company as Director of the Technology Division. John became a principal in 2003.

The Hudson Valley Agency Alliance (HVAA) was established by the Rollins Agency in coordination with the Strategic Independent Agents Alliance (SIAA) in 1998 to serve agencies in Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, and Rockland Counties. Today there are 30 members and HVAA is one of the top 100 privately held property and casualty agencies nationally.

In 2006 Rollins established a risk management division, directed by Erica Martinson. The department provides our clients leading edge tools and services to identify, minimize, and manage risk.

Today, Rollins celebrates its 100th anniversary as a leading insurance and risk management agency. Rollins’ Technology Division insures over 250 technology companies and the total premium volume exceeds $85 million. In 2006, over 600 corporate clients rely on Rollins for all of their risk management and insurance needs.
